A Pickleball Festival is taking place at Cowdenbeath Leisure Centre on Saturday 24th October.
Enthusiasts from across Fife are encouraged to take part.
Fife Sports and Leisure Trust is now taking bookings through the reception at the leisure centre and through its customer app (available from 16th October)
The event will run from 10 am to 1 pm. The cost is £15 per person. Bookings are non-refundable, unless the event is cancelled by the organisers. Thirty-two places are available.
Lee Cunningham, Activities Manager at Fife Sports and Leisure Trust, said: “The festival offers players the opportunity to enjoy friendly competition, develop their skills and connect with fellow pickleball players in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
“The event is aimed at participants aged 14 and over. They must have a basic knowledge of pickleball and understand the rules of the game, although players of all experience levels are welcome to take part.
“Participants can bring their own paddle or make use of equipment provided on the day.”
Pickleball continues to grow in popularity across Scotland, combining elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis into a fast-paced and highly accessible sport that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and abilities.
