K107FM is an award-winning community radio station and Scottish charity, rooted in Kirkcaldy and connected to communities across Fife.
We give local voices time, from a charity's first interview to a band's first airplay. Programmes are made by volunteers who care about local life in Fife and want to help others feel part of it.
Whether you'd like to present a programme, learn new skills, support community events, help behind the scenes or contribute your professional expertise, there's a place for you at K107FM.

Ways to get involved
On Air
Help bring local stories, music and conversations to listeners.
You could get involved with:

No previous radio experience is required. We'll help you learn the skills you need.
Production & Technical
Support the programmes and technology that keep the station on air.

If your interests or skills aren't listed, we'd still love to hear from you. Many of our volunteers have helped shape completely new ideas and activities at the station.
No experience needed
One of our core beliefs is that community radio should be open to anyone.
You do not need:
- Previous radio experience
- Professional media training
- Industry contacts
- A particular qualification
What matters is enthusiasm, reliability and an interest in supporting local communities.
We'll help you develop new skills, gain confidence and become part of a friendly team working together to strengthen community connections across Fife.
Membership
Becoming a member of K107FM allows you to participate fully in the life of the station and support its work as a community broadcaster and charity.
Membership is renewed annually from 1 April to 31 March.
Full Membership
£60 per year (£5 per month)
Alternative Membership Arrangements
We recognise that cost can sometimes be a barrier. In some circumstances we may be able to offer alternative arrangements to help people participate in our work. Please contact us to discuss your situation in confidence.
Some volunteer opportunities and elected positions require membership of the organisation.
