Fuel, Food and Crisis Support- Fife Gingerbread is looking for your help Supporting local families this Christmas.
With every donation directly supporting families in Fife, the charity is looking to communities, businesses and supporters to donate to their annual appeal.
Kirsty Mackerracher, Fundraising Coordinator at Fife Gingerbread said:
“2026 has seen a rise in the need for our support across Fife, and we know with fuel and food costs rising even more everyone feels the strain. We see families in situations that can happen to anyone, that will struggle this Winter to heat their homes for their children. Fifers have been brilliant at supporting us year after year – coming together to give children the Christmas they deserve.”
Every year, the costs keep rising and so does the need. Fife Gingerbread has supported over 800 families in the past 12 months. The charity aims to raise £20,000 to continue providing practical help to families in crisis. Donations will help Fife Gingerbread to:
- Make sure children can stay cosy in warm homes with access to heat and electricity
- Buy healthy meals and shopping for families struggling to make ends meet
- Offer crisis support for emergencies
- Deliver special Festive Packages with toys, food, vouchers, and fuel
Fife Gingerbread is urging local businesses, community groups, and residents to get involved and support the appeal.
