Fife Council are improving the road network at Baldinnie this autumn.
Resurfacing works will be carried out on the B940 between the C56 junction and Bruntshiel from Monday 26 October to Friday 13 November 2026, subject to weather.
This section of the B940 links Largoward with Pitscottie. To allow the work to be carried out safely, the road will be closed between 9am and 3pm each day. Temporary traffic lights will be in place outside these hours.
A signed diversion will be in place via B940 → B939 → A916 → A915 → B940. Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead and allow extra time for their journeys during the closure.
Access for emergency services will be maintained wherever it is safe to do so.
