Kirkcaldy Property Network will hold its next meeting on Tuesday 27 October 2026, from 6.30pm to 9.00pm at BArty’s in Kirkcaldy, bringing together property investors, landlords, developers and others interested in property and town centre regeneration
The evening will feature a varied programme of speakers covering the latest developments in Kirkcaldy, changes affecting the private rented sector, property maintenance and investment strategies.
Colin Miller, founder of Kirkcaldy Property Network, will open the meeting with an update on regeneration activity in the town, including progress with The Vacant Shops Academy and ongoing efforts to bring empty commercial properties back into use.
Craig Holmes will provide an update on the local lettings market and discuss developments affecting landlords, including Awaab’s Law and its implications for the private rented sector.
Forrest Hamilton of Timberwise will share practical advice on identifying and dealing with damp, rot and condensation, issues that are particularly relevant to owners of older properties.
The evening will conclude with a question-and-answer session featuring property investor Declan Macaloney, who will discuss how he started in property, the investment strategies he has developed and his experience of assisted sales.
Colin Miller said:
"Our meetings are about bringing people together to share knowledge, make connections and explore opportunities within the property sector.
We have a really interesting mix of speakers this month, covering everything from practical property maintenance and changes affecting landlords to regeneration and investment strategies.
We are also keen to encourage people who are just starting out in property, as well as experienced investors and developers. You don't need to own property to come along – just have an interest in the subject."
Kirkcaldy Property Network was established in February 2026 and has grown into an active forum for people interested in property investment, development and regeneration in Kirkcaldy and the surrounding area.
