Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking overnight road safety investigations on the A92 between Kirkcaldy and Glenrothes from Sunday 25th October toFriday 30th October.
The work is required to understand the current condition of a section of the road safety barriers on the A92 at the Blackwood Road Overbridge between Redhouse Roundabout at Kirkcaldy and Bankhead Roundabout in Glenrothes.
To ensure the safety of road workers and motorists, the work will be undertaken overnight only with 1 lane closed in both directions between 7.30pm and 6.30am on each night shift. A 50mph speed restriction will also be in place.
The investigations will provide information to help plan future improvements, supporting safer and more reliable journeys for more than 16,000 drivers who use this route each day.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
