Amey is undertaking overnight road safety investigations on the A92 between Kirkcaldy and Glenrothes from Sunday 4th October to Friday 16th October.
The work is required to understand the current condition of a section of the road safety barriers on the A92 between Redhouse Roundabout at Kirkcaldy and Bankhead Roundabout in Glenrothes.
To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists, the work will be carried out under overnight lane 2 restrictions on both carriageways between 7.30pm and 6.30am. A 50mph speed restriction will also be in place.
The investigations will provide information to help plan future improvements, supporting safer and more reliable journeys for the more than 16,000 drivers who use this route every day.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
- A free Road Work Alerts service is available. An email address is all that is required to sign up for the service.
