Hundreds come together for Fife Funders’ Fayre 2026

Fife’s third sector came together for a packed day of funding opportunities, expert advice and inspiring connections at the annual Fife Funders’ Fayre.

Hundreds of representatives from charities, community groups, voluntary organisations and social enterprises gathered at Fife College’s St Brycedale Campus in Kirkcaldy on Wednesday 14 October for a hugely successful Fife Funders’ Fayre 2026.

Organised by Fife Voluntary Action (FVA), the event brought together funders, specialist support organisations and third sector representatives for a day packed with opportunities to explore funding, share knowledge and build connections that will help communities across Fife thrive.

With a wide range of funders and support agencies under one roof, attendees had the chance to speak directly with experts, discover funding opportunities and get practical advice to help turn their ideas into action.

The Fayre also provided a valuable opportunity for organisations to strengthen their knowledge, explore new approaches and connect with others working to make a difference in their communities.

A diverse range of funders took part, including The National Lottery, The Robertson Trust, Corra Foundation, and Creative Scotland.

Specialist support was also available from organisations including OSCR, Volunteer Scotland, and event sponsors Lindsays.

The breadth of expertise on offer meant organisations could explore not only funding opportunities, but also the practical support available to help them develop, strengthen their governance and deliver their ambitions.

The Fayre’s expert-led workshops proved popular, with sessions covering key topics including strengthening funding applications, cyber security, PVG and Disclosure updates, and evaluating the impact of funded projects.

Throughout the day, the venue was alive with conversations, networking and the sharing of ideas – demonstrating the value of bringing Fife’s third sector together to learn from one another and build relationships.

Kenny Murphy, Chief Executive of FVA said

“By bringing people together and opening doors to new opportunities, Fife Funders’ Fayre continues to play an important role in helping local organisations access the knowledge, connections and resources they need to make a lasting difference.

“FVA looks forward to building on the connections and ideas generated at this year’s event and continuing to support a strong, connected and thriving third sector across Fife.”
