The Health Board's Annual Review also provides an opportunity to reflect on achievements, challenges and performance during the period from April 2025 to March 2026 and is open to members of the public to attend or submit questions in advance of the event.
People across Fife are being invited to attend NHS Fife's Annual Review and put their questions directly to senior leaders at a public session in Dunfermline this November.
The review will take place at Dunfermline Carnegie Library & Galleries at 11am on Thursday 26 November 2026 and enables local people to hear how NHS Fife has performed over the past year, learn more about key achievements and challenges, and ask questions about healthcare services in Fife.
The Health Board's Annual Review also provides an opportunity to reflect on achievements, challenges and performance during the period from April 2025 to March 2026 and is open to members of the public to attend or submit questions in advance of the event.
The annual review forms part of a national process through which NHS Boards are held accountable for the delivery of healthcare services and the use of public resources. The agenda is set by the Scottish Government and focuses on performance against national standards, local priorities and agreed targets.
Members of the public are invited to attend the annual review public session, which will begin at 11am and lasts around an hour. Registration will open from 10.30am.
To support planning ahead of the event, those wishing to attend in person are asked to register using the form on the NHS Fife website at: www.nhsfife.org/AR. Anyone unable to register online can also request a paper form by calling 01592 647971 or by emailing: fife.annualreview@nhs.scot.
Members of the public are also invited to submit questions relating to healthcare services in Fife in advance of the review. Questions can be submitted until by email to fife.annualreview@nhs.scot or via a form on the Annual Review section of the NHS Fife website. All questions must be submitted no later than 12 noon on Friday 20th November.
The public session will also be recorded and made available on the NHS Fife website, alongside responses to questions submitted in advance.
Professor Pat Kilpatrick, Chair of NHS Fife, said: "Our Annual Review is an important opportunity to reflect on the care and services we provide for the people of Fife and to demonstrate how we are responding to both local and national priorities.
"Over the past year, our staff and partners have continued to work exceptionally hard to deliver high-quality care in what remains a challenging environment for health and social care services across Scotland.
"The review gives us an opportunity to showcase some of the progress we have made, while also being open about the challenges we face and the work that is underway to improve services.
"Just as importantly, it provides local people with an opportunity to engage directly with NHS Fife, ask questions and hear more about the issues that matter to them. I would encourage anyone with an interest in healthcare services in Fife to attend or submit a question in advance."
