BRAG Enterprises Announces 2026 AGM Theme: Overcoming Challenges and Driving Community Impact

BRAG Enterprises has announced that its 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on Friday, 6 November 2026, bringing together stakeholders, partners, volunteers, staff and community members to recognise the previous year’s work and look ahead to future opportunities.

The theme for this year's event is "Overcoming Challenges and Driving Community Impact."

Established in 1988 in response to the closure of local coal mines in the Benarty area, BRAG Enterprises was created to address the significant economic and social challenges caused by rising unemployment. Nearly four decades later, the organisation continues to make a positive difference in communities across Fife, with employability services remaining at the heart of its work. Today, BRAG's dedicated employability keyworkers support individuals throughout Fife to develop skills, access training opportunities and move towards sustainable employment.

Alongside its employability services, BRAG Enterprises owns and manages community enterprise centres in Crosshill and Methil, providing affordable commercial premises that help local businesses establish and grow. The Crosshill centre also hosts a community growing space, a food pantry, and a range of community-led classes and courses that support wellbeing, learning and community engagement throughout the year.

BRAG is also the owner of the innovative Together Levenmouth Hub, a vibrant community facility offering flexible event space, meeting rooms, a sensory room, café and community areas. The Hub serves as a focal point for local activities and hosts a wide variety of events designed to bring people together, encourage collaboration and strengthen community connections.

As a social enterprise, BRAG Enterprises reinvests all surplus income generated through its activities and facilities directly back into local communities, helping to create opportunities, support individuals and drive lasting community impact.

Speaking ahead of the AGM, Brian Robertson-Fern said, “the AGM will provide an opportunity to reflect on the resilience of the communities it serves, celebrate collective achievements, and recognise the continued commitment of its staff, volunteers, partners and supporters.”

The AGM will showcase the organisation's progress over the past year while highlighting how BRAG continues to overcome challenges and deliver meaningful social and economic impact across Fife.

The AGM will be at 2 p.m. on Friday the 6th of November at The Together Levenmouth Hub, 45 Main Street, Leven, KY8 4NE.

Prior to this, BRAG staff will be available between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. to showcase staff and tenant achievements and to answer any questions the public may have about their services.

The AGM is open to everyone however they do request that you email: rcowan@brag.co.uk by 2 p.m. on Friday the 30th of October to guarantee a space.
