Mercat Marriage Terms and Conditions:
1- The promoter of the competition is LJ Events by lj.
Event is supported by Mercat Shopping Centre, Kirkcaldy and Kirkcaldy Community Radio Ltd alongside a number of prize partners.
The winner agrees to accept all blackout dates, space availability, requirements etc established by our prize partner(s).
2- The competition is open to residents of Fife aged 18 years or over except employees of the above stated promoters and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.
3- There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
4- By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
5- Route to entry for the competition and details of how to enter are via our online nomination entry form.
6- Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
7- Closing date for entry will be August 13th 2021. After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
8- No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reaso

10- Mercat Marriage reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
11- Mercat Marriage is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party not connected to this competition.
12- The prize is as follows: Full Legal Wedding Ceremony taking place in a room in The Mercat Shopping Centre, Kirkcaldy on October 23rd @ 1pm which includes - Bridal Dress, Kilt Hire, Flowers (including bouquet & buttonholes), Ceremony Decor, Piper, Bridal Jewellery, Bridal Hair & Makeup, Photographer, Seating chairs for 38 guests complete with covers and sashes, Celebrant, Marriage License, Wedding Cake, Bridal Shoes, Favours for Guests.
Reception at Dean Park Hotel on Sunday 24th October (NEXT DAY) for 40 persons (total) – buffet included
13- The winning couple will be chosen at random on air with K107fm as a result of nominations conducted via social media as measured and recorded and verified by Mercat Marriage.
14- The winning couple will be notified on air via K107fm
15- K107fm will notify the winning couple live on air then proceed to the next stage of planning the big day with the lucky winners
16- Mercat Marriage decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
17- By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
18- The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by Scottish law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland
19- The winning couple agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to any third party..
20- The winning couples name will be available via K107fm, Lj Events by lj and the Mercat Shopping Centre
21- Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
22- This competition is in no way sponsored by Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to LJ Events by lj, K107fm & The Mercat Shopping Centre and not to any other third party.
23 – No cash alternative or alternative prize will be offered
24 – The prize may not be transferred to any other person(s)
Mercat Marriage’s decision as to those able to take part and selection of winners is final. No correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into.
Mercat Marriage shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage.
Mercat Marriage also reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.
